The African Network to host, Third Annual International Conference, TANCon 2008:Taking the Leap of Faith.

Silicon Valley, CA- The African Network (TAN), a global non-profit organization that fosters entrepreneurship and technology advancement in Africa and among people of African descent, will host their third annual conference TANCon2008: Taking the Leap of Faith on November 1, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto, CA. TANCon 2008: Taking the Leap of Faith will feature workshops and speakers that focus on building and sustaining businesses and provide insight on some of the hot issues and opportunities in both Africa and the United States.TANCon caters to a global audience, with representatives from top technology companies, leading venture capitalist firms, service providers, and professional service firms. Attendees span the spectrum from experienced CEO’s to first time entrepreneurs, financial market experts, government policy makers, and leaders from academia.

“TAN works to empower entrepreneurs and showcase Africa's potential as a major emerging market. We are very excited about the impact TANCon 2008 will have on all entrepreneurs, but most especially entrepreneurs who are African and of African decent,” stated Luc Tengueu, TANCon 2008 Chairperson.
