New York, Paris date: The International Herald Tribune (IHT) and IMG are pleased to announce their collaboration in the IHT’s upcoming annual luxury conference – this year titled Techno Luxury -- to be held at The Ritz Carlton, Berlin on November 17 and 18.

Hosted by Suzy Menkes, the IHT’s world-renowned fashion editor, the conference is the essential annual business forum for the global fashion and luxury industry, attracting commercial and creative directors from 31 countries. This year’s high-profile speakers include Christopher Bailey (Burberry); Tomas Maier (Bottega Veneta); Frida Giannini (Gucci); Claus-Dietrich Lahrs (Hugo Boss AG) and Alain Dominique Perrin (Compagnie Financi√®re Richemont).

This sponsorship marks the first step in what will be an on-going collaboration whereby IMG will host high quality receptions, supply production support and provide services for IHT luxury conference attendees.

Brenda Erdmann Hagerty, the IHT conference director, said: “It’s fantastic to have IMG on board. They bring a wealth of experience and technological know-how which will greatly enhance the Techno Luxury conference and we are very much looking forward to working with them on future events.”

“We are very excited about this new collaboration,” says Peter Levy, senior vice president and managing director of IMG Fashion Worldwide. “The IHT and IMG have complementary positions within the fashion and luxury sector. The IHT luxury conference is the perfect place for business insiders to network and learn from each other. To be part of this elite platform is a great honor for us.”
