The LIM Fashion Education Foundation will honor Vanessa Williams at its 2nd annual "Fearless" event
In 1977, in response to the financial needs of the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising’s student body, the Fashion Education Foundation (FEF) was founded. The Foundation, which is independent of LIM, is a 501 c 3 tax exempt not-for-profit organization.
The Foundation’s primary purpose is to raise funds for scholarships and educational enhancements that benefit LIM students. Since 1979, FEF has awarded over $1,000,000 (one million dollars) in scholarships to deserving LIM students. These funds have been raised through individual and corporate contributions and special events.
Contributions to the Fashion Education Foundation go directly to LIM students. Contributions do not support the programs and expenses of the College.
LIM College – Where Business Meets Fashion is the only college in the United States dedicated exclusively to providing students with an education in the business of fashion. LIM College grants bachelor’s degrees in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Management, and associate degrees in Fashion Merchandising. In March 2009, the College launched an MBA program with concentrations in Fashion Management and Entrepreneurship, the only program of its kind in the nation. Summer and Saturday programs for high school students and a summer program for visiting college students are also available.
For 70 years LIM College has provided its students with a high-quality education and entrée into the fashion and retail worlds, while supplying the industry with well-qualified employees who have demonstrated a passion for fashion.

Tickets for regular admission are $150 each. Blocks of 10 tickets are $1250. VIP tickets are $250 each. Blocks of 10 VIP tickets are $2000. VIP tickets include admission, as well as a private cocktail recpetion with Vanessa Williams at 6 p.m. and a VIP gift bag.
