The Artist Loft to host a High-tea Luncheon with 200 of Houston’s most Notable Women of Color
Houston, TX--- September, 2009--- The Artist Loft, a premier agency that provides a variety of beauty artists and photographers who cater to fields in advertising, editorial, brand consulting and the entertainment industries, will host a private social gathering with the most prominent women of Houston, October 16, 2009 at Hotel ZaZa. The Artist Loft is one of the most respected agencies in the world with names attached to their client roster like the Kardashian sisters, Adrian Bailon, Natasha Bedingfield and Houston’s own Beyonce Knowles and Solange Knowles. With successful offices in New York City and Los Angeles, The Artist Loft has opened an office in Houston, Texas.
Mikki Taylor, beauty and lifestyle coach, Motivational Speaker, Author and Beauty & Cover Editor of Essence Magazine will participate at this lavish event amongst Houston’s elite and distinguished women of color. For nearly 25 years, Mikki Taylor has reigned as America’s foremost authority on beauty for women of color.
Taylor along with world-renowned make-up artist Sam Fine and Celebrity Hair-stylist and TV Personality Ted Gibson will converse with attendees giving insider beauty trends, tips, and motivational speeches on women empowerment. This event is titled “Own Your Own Life,” an inspiration from Mikki Taylor’s book Self-Seduction: Your Ultimate Path to Inner and Outer Beauty offering the most practical and timeless information to inform, simplify and move your life forward in ways you never dreamed of.
The Artist Loft presents: “Own your Own Life,” is one of its first to hit Houston and has proven to be very successful in New York and Atlanta this year.
Three of Houston’s celebrated women of color will be the official hosts; Community Relations Director of CW39 and host of “Going Green,” Yolanda Green, Board Member of The Children’s Assessment, Phyllis Williams and President and CEO of Wealth Development Strategy L.P., Cheryl Creuzot. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go toward The Children’s Assessment Center. The Children’s Assessment Center (CAC) provides a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families. This event is a private affair and tickets for the luncheon will only be sold through the official event chairs and the CAC.
