You would have said ‘no way.’ What if I told you yet another two grads from Stanford would build an even better search engine called Google and [to top it off], a high school grad and Harvard dropout would come up with Facebook, you would have said ‘no way!’ One of the things about life is life isn’t always on a schedule.”
The above solid opening with the perfect pauses and emphasis served as the opening to Vivek Ranadivé, Founder, Chairman & CEO of TIBCO’s key note speech on May 15th, 2009 at TIE CON 2009. His remarks were instantly captivating as not even a drop of a pin could be heard in the auditorium like room at the Santa Clara Convention Center where TIE CON attendees sat to listen to his speech.
