Ladybrille Predicts Winners for the 1st Ever MTV MAMA Awards

The 1st ever MTV MAMA Awards takes place tomorrow! Radio Station Disc Jockeys, Fans and celebs alike are excited and highly anticipating the pre-parties, red carpet, the 2hour awards event and of course the post party celebrations.We decided to join in the excitement and fun by trying to predict the winners in some of the categories up for grabs. Before we get into it, we note there are lots of talented African artists across the continent beyond those from Nigeria and South Africa! We do not know how MTV made its selections for 2008, but we definitely look forward to a more diverse mix from other African countries in 2009. Now on to our predictions!

D'Banj is just larger than life on stage. While P-Square and Samini put on quite a show, D'Banj is quite electrifying.
