Glad it is Friday!!!! Didn't get time this morning to dance to my excitement. lol! Had to run off to court. It was a long but exciting day in court and I am officially signing off from legal work, at least for the rest of today. Which leads me to splurge on fashion!!!! I had to of course do the weekly collection of fashion news related to/about Africa just for YOU. But, before I get into it, I love the part of anticipating what trends will be for next season. Usually, New York and European fashion markets drive the trends globally. Let me do something different by anticipating through the eyes of Africa the fashion trends for Spring 2008 from NY Fashion Week. I have a strong feeling we will see the color choice and designs reminiscent of South African brands Lunar, Story and a a bit of Bongiwe Walaza [especially with her color choice]; in the recently completed Sanlam SA Fashion Week. We shall wait and see! Meanwhile, I thought it nice to be reminded of the fashion trends we saw during the Fall 2007/2008 via way of the esteemed Tim Blanks along with Vogue's Anna Wintour, Sally Singer and Andre Leon Tally--as we observe trends for Spring 2008.
