Spring/Summer 2015 Show at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week
New York, CA (September 8, 2014) Ladybrille founder, and ex-model turned
Fashion and Entertainment Lawyer, Uduak Oduok walked the Carrie Hammer Spring/Summer
2015 as ‘Role Model.’
The show titled ‘Role Models Not Runway Models’, a collaborative effort
with New York’s Fashion Law Institute and Hammer, showcased some leading ‘role
models’ in America ranging from top women business owners and executives to trailblazers.
Examples included Nithya Das, General Counsel for AppNexus, Collete Davis, Co-founder
of Tech Drive and professional Indy car race car driver, Kara Goldin, CEO and
Founder of Hint, Inc., Dina Kaplan, Co-founder of Blip TV, Lindsay Todd Merkle,
Global Account Manager for Beats by Dre and Karen G. Crespo, a nurse practitioner who lost all four
limbs to bacterial meningitis.
“It was a huge
honor for me to participate in the Fashion Law Institiute’s annual event
featuring Carrie Hammer at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, this season,” said
Oduok. “It doesn’t get any better than participating in a show that marries my
two passions: fashion and the law, added with an extra icing on the cake i.e.
my unwavering support and commitment to the advancement of women. It was
