FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FASHION DESIGN COUNCIL OF CANADA AND IMG FASHION ANNOUNCE EXPANDED RELATIONSHIP

Ongoing Relationship to Support Growth of LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris

Toronto, ON (Oct. 22, 2010) – IMG Fashion, a division of IMG Worldwide and the Fashion Design Council of Canada (FDCC) announced today an agreement to expand their long standing relationship to include collaboration on production, marketing, communications, operations and sponsorship sales for LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris. The first event under this expanded arrangement will be the 2011 Fall/Winter Collections in March 2011. The relationship will have IMG work under the direction of the FDCC to develop programs to support Canadian talent both in the country and throughout IMG's network of fashion events globally.

"IMG Fashion has made a strong commitment to support the growth of the international fashion industry," said Peter Levy, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of IMG Fashion Worldwide. "We are proud to be working even more closely with the team at the FDCC, to bring new opportunities to Canadian designers as well as help them to build strategic alliances in the global fashion industry. The FDCC has done an excellent job over the last decade building Canada's principal fashion event and we look forward to building on that success."

IMG Fashion, which currently produces and represents the world's leading fashion events along with the FDCC, will create an international platform for designers to showcase their talents. IMG and the FDCC's primary objectives will be supporting a strategic international communications program, expanding the opportunities for interaction with the industry at LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris, creating new opportunities for designers and elevating the FDCC and its council's role in the global fashion landscape.

"We have celebrated fashion excellence for over a decade and now LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris is ready to reach out beyond its borders and become active on a global level. Our new relationship with IMG Fashion has great potential due to their extensive global connections," says Robin Kay, President, FDCC.

The Event in Canada was initiated by Robin Kay in 1999 in conjunction with the FDCC (formerly known as the Ontario Designers Association), which currently produces the largest fashion event in Canada. The 23rd LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris season started Monday, October 18th, 2010 and is featuring over 30 presentations representing more than 60 designers and talent from British Columbia, Winnipeg, Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto and more.

"With the expansion of our working relationship with the FDCC and their stakeholders, we plan to build year-round programs to support Canadian designers at home and abroad, as well as further grow the marquee event to support both established and emerging designers," said Danny Fritz and Sam Galet, Vice President and Managing Director of IMG Canada. "Our goal is to continue to connect premier corporate brands to LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris that will further escalate the position of FDCC and its members for the long-term growth of the industry."
