Many Black celebrities flaunted their red carpet looks at the 9th Annual BET Awards. The ladies set the trends on the red carpet with mini embellished dresses. Makeup overall seemed to depict the somber mood in Hollywood and across the globe, on the death of Michael Jackson, as the ladies deferred to the minimalist era with simple clean fresh yet youthful makeup. We didn't care too much for Beyonce Knowles choice of dress and makeup. While her dress offered a burst of color and lots of sequins, it overall did nothing to create a 'ummph ' factor. Also, while it was great to keep things minimal, 95% of the time, Beyonce's makeup on the red carpet is too safe and unsinpiring. It will be nice to see her take a bit more risks the way she does with her dresses.Our favorite look for the evening: Alicia Keys in a see through sleeves, heavily embellished v-neck mini Jenny Packham dress. Her strappy nude sexy sandals and matching clutch with full neck length freshly tight hair curls made her our Ladybrille celeb of the evening.
Fashion Police Alert for Melody Thornton. Melody Thornton definitely got the attention of our fashion police and has been approriately cited with Ladybrille Fashion Penal Code section 314-318.6 ''Indecent Exposure." What oshi (foolishness)!

I love the Alicia keys Dress, the dress is very sexy and not too reveling. I love the humanitarian work she is doing for Africa. I hope that all of these big stars do something meaningful with their money .
