African Celebrities React to Death of Michael Jackson, "The King of Pop"

The King of Pop gave so much of himself in his music to millions worldwide, Africa was no exception. He broke barriers whether speaking about race or asking for a more humane way of seeing your fellow inhabitants of the earth thanks to "We are the World USA." Today,continous news streaming from Africans worldwide show many mourning the death of the man that impacted them so much. Many are pouring their emotions on facebook, twitter, Myspace and all other social networks.

At age 13, Michael Jackson visited Africa with the Jackson 5 and he clearly was impacted as the rest of his work later in life would show. He gave the world and particularly Africa "We are the World," "Remember the Time" and "Liberian Girl." May his soul rest in peace.

It's one of the worst star deaths I've ever felt. "You're not alone" has to be among my top 5 songs of all time. I'll surely miss him.
