It is slowly but surely becoming a common thing to see African inspired clothing on the Western fashion global map. 2009 has opened to a strong start for Africa's fashion professionals, industry et al. We can continue to count the many successes with the current endorsement deal signed by Liya Kebede and the successful retail giant J.Crew.
Liya will grace the pages of J.Crew's April Catalog. J.Crew will retail some of Liya's Lem Lem clothing pieces online, in their catalog and at one of their retail outlets in SOHO.
