Ladybrille-
Thanks for your comment!
I must point out that I absolutely LOVE your blog and I stalk it religiously. I'm not Nigerian but I am Congolese! It makes me proud when Africans represent!!!
AND you make a very good point- it is extremely important for one to be comfortable with who they are the way God made them to be!!
Thanks Ms. Black girl:)
Thankfully you don't have to be Nigerian to be a Ladybrille woman :) Our demographics include African and non-Africans. Occasionally depending on news, trends, events etc, you might see one country dominate but overall make it our mission to represent Africa and friends of Africa not just Nigerians.
I love your site as well. Glad I checked it out. Provocative, intelligent yet has an element that makes one feel safe and comfortable to speak their minds.
Cheers,
Uduak
Deola Sagoe is killing Naija fashion this year...
I'm sure she has put in a lot of work...
I've started finding myself on ur blog everyday now...
@notjustok, you run a fun an easily addictive site as well. keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Uduak
I am confused as to why there are Best dressed Minister and Senator categories. Ministers and Senators have NOTHING to do with Fashion. As I see it, fashion awards are for Fashion Industry INSIDERS. Leave it to the tabloids to confer Best and Worst dressed honours.
Seriously, Nigerians tend to overdo things. It would have been far more tasteful to just have a few relevant categories than to go overboard with a lot of questionable awards.
Just my two kobo.
@Sugabelly: lol! That's exactly what I thought when I saw that.Lol! My sentiments exactly.
Cheers,
Uduak
