Kenya's Ajuma Nasenyana
Whether using fashion to make a political statement, to promote peace, or their designers winning awards worldwide, Kenyans are insisting to be an active participant in Africa's momentum building fashion revolution.
A name that has contributed to this revolution and kept Kenya on the tongues of many across the globe is Ajuma Nasenyana. Ajuma's dark beauty got her noticed and making history as the the first black model to win a contract worth $50,000 in an international competition, Ford Models Supermodel of the World Search, open to all races.
