“UCOF Annual Gala on October 8th, 2014 – Paper Dreams: Writing New Runways.
Event: United Colors of Fashion (UCOF) is asking you to help us empower youth through fashion education, by joining us at the 4th Annual UCOF Academy Gala in New York City at the historic Lexington Avenue Armory on the evening of October 8th, 2014.
UCOF Academy is the first registered 501(c)(3) organization in the U.S. to offer FREE Fashion Education to under-resourced youth. The organization is registered with New York Department of Education, NY Charity Bureau, NY Department of State and the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) organization under the name of United Colors of Fashion, Incorporated.

We highly encourage getting tickets as soon as you can, the early bird special gives a 20-25% discount to the first 150 guests, on a first come basis.
UCOF has a clear and compelling mission. We are counting on you to purchase a ticket to the gala, to help with UCOF Academy’s mission of offering FREE Fashion Education to under-resourced youth. If you cannot attend, you have the option to sponsor the event or give a donation to support the mission.
The Gala will commence with an intern exhibition and a cocktail reception, which includes an open bar. A subsequent award ceremony and an entertainment line-up will follow. The annual gala brings NY/NJ elites, celebrities, Wall Street bankers, and fashion and lifestyle media from different parts of the world.

Uduak Oduok to Judge the Miss Sacramento County Pageant, Official Preliminary to Miss California USA® Pageant

Sacramento, CA (September 22, 2014) - Uduak Oduok, journalist, fashion and entertainment lawyer, publisher of Ladybrille Magazine and ex-fashion model has been selected to judge the Miss Sacramento County USA Pageant.

The Miss Sacramento County and Miss Sacramento County Teen is an official preliminary to the Miss California USA® and Miss California Teen USA® Pageants. The Miss Universe®, Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® Pageants are a Donald J Trump and NBC Universal joint adventure.

Hosted by Karla Gordy Bristol of the legendary Motown Records, The Miss Sacramento County Beauty Pageant Finals and the Miss Sacramento County Teen will be held on September 28th, 2014 at the Hilton Garden in Elk Grove, California.

Oduok will judge alongside other judges including Justin Bird, MBA Bravo Television Millionaire Matchmaker, Jeff Maher, News Broadcaster, ABC Channel 10, Sara Pinnell, Publisher Ardent for Life Elk Grove Magazine, among others.

“I’m honored to judge the Miss Sacramento County Pageant event,” said Oduok “I am a firm advocate and believer in empowering young girls and women, a philosophy the pageant also shares. I am excited and look forward to having a great time.”

The Miss Sacramento County and Miss Sacramento County Teen Pageants is founded by Mykesha A Robinson, a local of Sacramento. Robinson brings her passion for empowering girls and women to Sacramento. She was an Advance Staffer for The White House and Obama for America in 2012, worked along side with U.S. Secret Service, mainstream media such as CNN, NBC, CBS and more in event planning.
