Dilana Supports Rocker-Edge T’s to Raise Money for Rock for Kids

South African Rocker Chic Joins the Music Fashion Project

Sacramento, Calif.
–Tea Stain Clothing’s Music Fashion Project has recruited yet another top rocker adding to its’ current list of elite musicians. Launched on August 1, 2009, the Music Fashion Project pairs some of the rock scene’s biggest names with Tea Stain Clothing to raise money for music-related charities. Best known for her participation in CBS’ reality-show “Rock Star: Supernova”, Dilana is the newest addition to the Music Fashion Project ‘family’. Dilana has chosen to support Rock for Kids! Rock for Kids provides free year-round music education for children.

While music is the focus of her life, Dilana has always been devoted to helping others, especially children. With the long-anticipated release of her album InsideOut featuring Holiday, Loud Silence and My Drug, Dilana is poised to lend her support to The Music Fashion Project, a cause that combines two of her greatest passions. In addition, Dilana is currently working on her first starring role in “Angel Camouflaged” alongside James Brolin.

“We’re very excited to have Dilana participating in The Music Fashion Project,” commented Devin Hajek, founder of Tea Stain Clothing. “Her style, personality and music compliment the current roster of bands supporting the project and we look forward to working with her and raising money for Rock for Kids.”

The project is web based and every band’s feature is completely sharable. “This is the next generation of social media and web based marketing. We wanted to make a difference and make it easy to spread the word,” continues Hajek. “Even if someone isn’t able to spend money on a shirt, they can still support their favorite band/charity by simply clicking ‘share’. From there, they have the option to email their friends or post it on their myspace, facebook and a host of other social networking outlets. These exclusive shirts are extremely affordable, retailing for just $19 and make perfect stocking stuffers.”

Current participating bands include Theory of a Deadman, Papa Roach, Halestorm and Fallbrooke. The project also features some bands ‘on the verge’ like Framing Hanley and Lovehammers featuring Marty Casey from CBS’ Rock Star INXS. To contribute to the project, fans simply purchase their favorite band’s selected charity style. Tea Stain Clothing takes care of the rest by donating a portion of the proceeds directly to that band’s specified charity.
